Lagos Leather Fair is an annual retail showcase created in 2017 by Femi Olayebi, founder and Creative Director of FemiHandbags. The primary aim was to create awareness of the potential value of the leather industry by first providing a much-needed platform for leather designers to showcase their talent, then working at finding sustainable solutions to move the industry forward, and change the narrative within a neglected and misunderstood sector. This year, given the current unfortunate situation across the globe, they decided to leverage technology and hold a virtual event, LLF Digital.

Themed Re-Defining The Narrative, the event featured a virtual exhibition, live conversations and masterclasses, insightful talks, and a very important Roundtable Discussion. This year also provided a different perspective ‐ wholesale retailers and buyers had the opportunity to view products from the comfort of their homes, while participating brands had the opportunity of connecting to a much wider community.

DSF Media created and executed a pre, during and post digital event strategy for the brand. We were also in charge of all digital advertising.
